Moses and Gracie

2 more dogs from a crowded rural shelter are safe with FUR. Moses and Gracie came into the shelter in early February, as part of a litter of 7 puppies. Two were adopted, 2 went to Puppy Hill, 2 went to Swamp Haven, and FUR pulled Bashful, the 7th dog. Bashful (now Malibu) was fostered by Laura Dughi and Mike Prost, and adopted by Jason Lowe.

A couple weeks ago, the person who adopted Moses and Gracie returned them to the shelter. Apparently she lost her job and is moving in with family, so she brought them back to the shelter 2 months later. With every shelter full, Susan, Valerie and Jana scrambled to come up with a plan for these now 5-6 month old puppies.

Cliff Baumen adopted Molly from Union 4 years ago, and he's been wanting to foster. Cliff brought Molly to the shelter on a Sunday morning, Susan met him there, and they did an introduction and all went well. James and Jessica West and their family fostered the NCIS litter, and since they are all now adopted, they offered to foster Gracie.

Andrea Lepianka transported Moses and Gracie. Susan and Cliff did another introduction with Molly and Moses, and they're getting along great. The Wests were out of town, but their Mom pinch hit and watched Gracie until they returned.

Thank you to the staff at Union County for allowing us to come in on a Sunday to do a meet and greet, and to Cliff, James and Jessica, Susan, Valerie, Jana, Andrea, and everyone else who made this happen. We're happy that these two pups are now out of the shelter again, and we appreciate everyone working together to get them safe!
