Toby and Finn were living in a plywood box that felt like an oven—part of an extreme neglect case where 15 dogs were found chained or confined in horrific conditions after a SWAT raid led to their rescue. For the first time in their young lives, Toby and Finn are finally receiving the love and care they deserve.

Thanks to the incredible team at Pet Paradise Jacksonville Airport, these scared boys had a safe place to land while we searched for a foster home. A huge thank you to Luke, Misty, and the amazing staff for caring for Toby and his brother Finn during their stay.

We’re also very grateful to Walt Shay for transporting Toby and Finn from the shelter, Jessica Cromer for visiting them at Pet Paradise, getting them to the vet, and driving them to their new foster homes.

Behind the scenes, Valerie Losego worked tirelessly—as she always does—to make sure everything fell into place for Toby.

Now, we’re thrilled to share that Toby is in a loving foster home with Cami Thompson, and Finn is in a foster to adopt with the McGinley family!

At first, Toby was shy and unsure, but with patience and kindness, he's starting to blossom. He adores his foster dog siblings—and even loves the cat! He's learning what it means to be part of a family and is quickly becoming a playful, affectionate companion.

Toby is under a year old, about 35 lbs, dog and cat friendly, and full of heart. If you're looking for a sweet, resilient pup to join your home, Toby might just be your perfect match.
