Toby's Life was Ripped Apart

When his owner passed away, Toby and two other pups were surrendered to Bradford County Animal Control. The minute they arrived, the clock started ticking. Bradford has a hard, fast 30 day rule. Once they hit 30 days, they were out of time and they would be euthanized. The other two pups quickly found a rescue to take them in, but Toby was left behind, alone and terrified.

We wanted to take Toby info FUR, but first we had to find a place to put him. We were thrilled when Julie Martinez offered to foster. Julie and her family are very experienced, trusted fosters, and we knew they were exactly what this scared, shy boy needed.

Thanks to Kelly Thomas for tirelessly advocating for Toby and all of the other shelter pups and also for providing this sweet boy with transport to his new foster home. Thank you Julie for giving him a soft spot to land.

Without Kelly's perseverance and Julie's kind heart, Toby's story could have ended much differently but because of them, he is safe, happy, healthy and patiently awaiting his happily ever after.

Sick and injured animals need help fast. Every donation helps, but Monthly donors give us flexibility to respond immediately when there is an emergency. When there is a hoarding case or a hurricane, a dog with a gunshot wound or a cruelty case, we have to act quickly. We don't have time to do a fundraiser, and wait for those funds to get to us. Your monthly donation can help us save lives again and again.
