Please welcome Summer, a VERY pregnant mama dog who was in the shelter at Putnam County. We didn't want her to have her babies in the shelter, so we scrambled to come up with a plan. Courtney Noble has fostered several pregnant mamas, and she offered to foster Summer. Courtney also drove to the shelter to pick her up, and took her to Murabella Animal Hospital to get checked out.

Dr. Kern thinks she has 7-8 puppies, and she should be delivering any day now. With the temperatures plunging again tonight, we're thankful to Courtney for fostering her. She's super sweet and very affectionate, and we can't wait to meet her babies. Welcome to FUR, sweet girl!
