When every shelter we support is full and struggling, we are very excited to not only give one freedom ride, but two!
Our adoption coordinator, Jana Andrews, and her daughter Kelsey went to the shelter to transport Blaine to his new foster home. That’s very exciting for us because he’s being fostered by Sielby Gibson, who adopted Ana from our Frozen litter last year. We love it when our FUR adopters come back to foster and/or volunteer!
As it turned out, Jana and Kelsey couldn’t resist this little boy Jack, so they took him home to foster themselves.
The shelter was already overcrowded and 5 more dogs came in yesterday, so even with these 2 out, there are still 4 dogs on the urgent list for tomorrow. We didn’t solve the problem, but we lightened the load a little bit.
There are some amazing dogs in every shelter. If you ever thought about fostering are adopting, now is the time!
